Located down an unassuming side street in Richmond, the showroom and head office for Articolo Studios creates a sequence of spaces that showcase the full collection of products.
Stepping through a discreet recessed doorway cut into the dark, ivy-covered facade, visitors are met with a vast double-height space, more akin to an art gallery. Custom terrazzo floors and a palette of natural oak and textured plaster finishes act as a backdrop to a range of mouth-blown glass and hand-crafted light fixtures. Brass wall panels are set into the walls below a series of skylights to transform the effect of daylight, introducing a sense of drama and movement to a deliberately minimalist, pared back series of spaces.
